Why does Reddit assume everyone is poor and hate rich people?

Why is this? I am a girl from an upper-middle class family and I feel like Reddit hates that about me.

Sometimes I am on Reddit asking for simply advice like where should I move to, what is the process, what is the cost, what should I prepare for and whatever, and when I shared my budget people become so dismissive and rude. People are always suggesting like ways to really save that would make my life uncomfortable, and are mad when I mention I can afford sometime better. When I asked Reddit for a good Mother’s Day gift you know for inspiration, and I was just being completely honest about something like, oh my mom doesn’t really wear fast fashion or Amazon jewelry they jump on me about how all clothes are essentially the same and buying luxury goods is stupid. It wasn’t even about me! I was hoping for some cute ideas like maybe a mother-daughter bonding experience type suggestion. Or you know, when people post beautiful pictures and I am like I’ve been there, they don’t believe me. Some one will comment like, “omg I really want to visit that place” and I will comment something like “oh I’ve stayed at xxx resort or have ate at xxx restaurant and it was a wonderful experience!” as a travel advice, and they think I am being a snob and showing off.

Why Reddit why? I am just trying to be friendly and help folks out. People comment stuff like I’ve said all the time. But Reddit loves it if you are looking for financial advice and you are making 0.0006$ an hour, has 8398 kids, and is 5,892,939$ in debt, but hates it if you are just kind of normal and comfortable but looking for ways to optimize. Why?!?!?
