I'm an atheist, I believe in science. I don't believe in ghosts and such, and the usual "crystals and healing"-things aren't something I believe in.
I have discovered though, that I might find it useful to have some kind of rituals or beliefs in my life, and mostly I just believe in my own intuition and the universe, the closest to religion or spirituality I get is somewhere between an atheist approach to satanism and maybe Kaos magic. I know it sounds weird.
My question is: is there any kind of spirituality or something that subscribe to this line of thought? I believe in symbolism in the sense that it's a powerful thing for the human brain, something to hold onto when life gets a bit stormy, and as long as I choose to believe and it works for me, I think it would be helpful.
I know I'm bad at describing what I'm looking for, but I hope someone knows what I mean and can either help me with a better definition or point me in the direction of what I'm looking for?
