I am trying to remember a John Wayne western where he is retiring from the cavalry and he and his men enter Mexico and end up facing French lancers. A theme I remember is has has a brand new pocket watch that he often consults. I would appreciate if anyone remembers the name of the movie. I do not believe it is "The Undefeated".
