Here's a Burt Reynolds' side story:
Last night I was Cable channel-surfing, and landed on an episode of Rod Serling's The Twilight Zone, titled "The Bard." It was a goofy comic tale of a hack writer who conjures up William Shakespeare to write his teleplays...and we get to see one of those butchered plays (given a "modern" spin) in rehearsal.
The romantic lead of the show-within-a-show was played by Burt Reynolds --doing a fantastic Marlon Brando parody (!), as a character named (ha) Rocky Rhodes. (I'd never seen this side of Burt's acting, and loved it; so I just wanted to pass it along.)
