I love films that conjure up hot, languid summer holidays (especially English ones). Off the top of my head,:
Call Me by Your Name This is England Swallows and Amazons (but I think they could have done much better) Even Atonement and some Harry Potter films capture that tired, late summer atmosphere despite the film's plot extending beyond a summer holiday.
