Almost all of our cells can't reproduce themselves like brain cells. But if we will take a look on cancer cells, all they do is just eating and reproducing without doing anything else for wich they were made for initially. So basically, when something messes with our cell's like radiation do it changes the logic of how cell should work and live.
So, i assume our cells know how to reproduce ( with incredible speed enough to kill a human in a month or two) and potentially we can restore damaged parts of our body, but for some reason they don't want to?
