I'm new to my job at Jcpenneys and I start my second shift tomorrow. I dont know anyone.
I live 2 hours away from my family. Prior and on Thanksgiving and Black Friday I am booked. No time at all to go and see my family. Even if they came to me, I would be working all day for both days. I'm very bummed about this.
Exactly a week after black F riday my family is taking a trip for the weekend. They just asked me if I could come with them today. My schedule was just posted today and I have to work that Friday and Saturday.
JCpenneys policy says I have to ask someone to cover/switch shifts after the schedule is posted.
How the fuck do I go about this? Like I said I'm totally new and dont know anyone. Who the fuck wants to work on a Friday or Saturday? How the hell do I ask someone?
