I was scheduled for a job interview at 9:45am (got there at 9:35). I walked in and I saw the guy's notebook notes. The first two candidates had stars next to their name. He mostly asked about availability, he told me that the "company has great hours for a retail store". He asked about experience and if I could lift 50 pounds. He seemed like he was in a hurry (he had other candidates so idk if he was like that because the store was about to open or because he was interviewing other). He told me that "working the cash register is simple; you get a 4 digit pin and...".
He was nodding. sometimes he seemed uninterested sometimes and he seemed interested sometimes (not sure). I asked him about the uniform. He was going to get up to show me a shirt (i presume) but he just came right back and told me the shirt color and that he usually wears long sleeves with it because it's cold. I told him if the job was flexible he said "we have a guy here who is also in school and this is his schedule." He just pointed to the guys' schedule.
He wrote down things after I answered questions. Not all the time (i don't think) but often. Does this seem like a good sign? I was in for 7 or 8 minutes. I think the girl before me was in for the same amount of time. He said he'd call back and gave me a date and time he'll make the call.
