I'm moving out of an apt I've been at for almost 2 years. I gave my notice that I'll be leaving on the 7th of December. I gave this notice on the 5th or 6th, so more than 30 days. Landlord is claiming that I will have to pay full rent for the entire month of December because under the lease it claims "30 days notice on or before the last day of the processing month". Fair enough, except the lease I signed expired in February...
My question is, does the LL have any grounds for their full rent requirement? I've been month-to-month since Feb and have not signed anything since.
