Hey reddit , didn't know exactly where to post this as I'm new to this ,searched subs for loans but none were active. Basically I'm a 18 old in the arm forces and getting married this weekend, we plan on moving in together in the beginning of next year and due to personal family issues had to give up a few thousands I had saved up to my older brother to literally spare his life. Now my BAH( housing allowance) wont kick in until roughly the mid of December or even the start of January. Depending on where I'm stationed at in the next 3 weeks we plan on living off base and obv need a decent amount for an aprtmant and the extra cost ie last month and deposit. And maybe to start off a few furniture items , that being said can I request a personal loan for a situation like this? Started building credit 8 months ago and got a credit card of 1000 at 19 percent ( I know it's high). I was looking for a 7k ish loan to get the essentials. What are your thoughts and advice.
