I am writing a research paper for an immigration class. When I was reading a book for my class, I read about how some politicians have used the American fear of foreigners to further their cause. Basically, I am wanting to see if this is a common thing that I could research? And if so, could anyone provide some helpful sources to look at?
Research Question: Is the fear of immigrants rooted in truth or is it dramatized and inflamed by politics and industries?
