I’m not a movie buff by any means — in fact, I’m somebody who rarely watch movies in the theatre — but I’ve recently discovered that I have a soft spot for coming of age films... So, are there any such films in the near future? I usually miss most of them and am forced to stream it online haha. So yeah, any recommendations? I’m fine with unreleased ones too because I can try to catch it in the cinema when it premieres.
Something about these films just clicked with me for some reason
For reference, I love films like The Edge of Seventeen, Lady Bird, Spider-Man: Into the Spider Verse etc etc. and detest movies like Aquaman, Infinity War etc etc Pretty much those ‘generally-lighthearted-yet-can-take-itself-seriously’ type of films are the ones I like.
As a side note, a good soundtrack really helps me to get immersed in the world the film is set in. Don’t y’all agree? Yeah? Great. I’d love to see more of such films.
