Any that you can recommend? I remember asking a friend about this, but it seems most French or Dutch or Belgian films that portray the Second World War; it's pretty much dramatic Oscar bait type films. Are there any Saving Private Ryan or Dunkirk-type films from those nations?
And what about the contemporary world? Like films set in UN peacekeeping missions or in Afghanistan. I had seen a French film on its special forces in Pakistan as well as a Danish war film set in Afghanistan.
