Am I the only person to realize most modern era movies show a Volkswagen (usually a classic Beetle) in them?
I wouldn't expect to see this in a movie like Tombstone or Peter Pan, but just look on the next movie you watch that is set in current time. I swear... It may be because I've owned a few so I notice them more - but it's interesting. I've google'd it but haven't found any 'theories' as to why they're there. Is there a conspiracy that the VW's are to desensitize everyone from WWII - or - to let 'hippies' become more socially acceptable?
I don't know why they're in so many movies, but by golly, there are a bunch!
