About 13 years ago, my mother got me a subscription service that, once a month, would send me a packet of postcard sized cards with awesome pictures of animals on one side, and an informational "statistics" (size, weight, habitat, food, lifestyle, etc) run xown on the other. Sometimes they would do fun ones like mythological creatures, extinct animals, etc. They came with a big black treasure chest shaped box with dividers to store the cards in with various category dividers as i got them (mammal, amphibian, reptile, etc).
Im almost positive i saw this on tv and begged her to get it for me. Ive done as many google searches as i could think of and cant find it. I have a 3 year old who would LOVE this and he and i could share the fun of learning and organizing these animals together. If youve seen this, had this, or know what it was called or where to find it, i would be forever in your debt!
