I mean, I don't watch this movie terribly often (not even annually), but ever few years I catch it, I just smile for the entirety of the film. I find every single scene amusing, funny, even emotional at times.
It's obviously dated...a period piece, you might even call it now, but the characters are still universal (though obviously less racist / homophobic in a '00s version. And I make that statement knowing it will be controversial. You can argue either side of that statement holding water.
So Cheers to Animal House. A pleasure to watch any time of year.
