Going Places, the remake of the 1974 erotic French comedy of the same name and spin-off of The Big Lebowski was first announced in 2016.
The film, which sees John Turturro reprising his role as volatile bowler and pederast (eight year olds, dude) Jesus Quintana, divided Lebowski fans on its announcement. Apprehension focused primarily on the Coen brothers' lack of involvement.
However, after its initial buzz, the film seems to have dropped of the radar entirely. Various sources report release dates in 2016, 2017 and 2019. But for a basic plot synopsis and a behind the scenes still of Turturro in costume, little has been reported.
So... does anyone know what the fuck happened, man?
