I've been listening to a lot of Jóhann Jóhannsson's music (especially the music he composed and released independently of any film) recently and think he could have made a film score for the ages for Villeneuve's Dune. Virðulegu Forsetar in particular has me fantasizing about what he could have done with a theme for House Atreides. In fact, it's hard for me to imagine a Villeneuve Dune score composed by someone else. What a loss to the world of film music his death was.
Who besides Jóhannsson would you want to see scoring Dune?
