I just watched Die Hard for the first time yesterday and today. Crazy, I know.
The movie is awesome, but I want to know what people see in Hans. He’s evil and smart. Ok, does that make him one of the best villains ever? His plan eventually relies on the authorities doing something stupid: turning off the power.
I’ll admit this scene that features Hans is one of my favorite movie scenes in recent memory and maybe my favorite scene of the movie:
Meanwhile, John McClain is a really likable character and he should be considered one of the best action movie heroes. This whole movie is an awesome R rated thrill ride and it has balls that modern action movies sort of seem to lack. I can’t believe it has taken me this long to watch it, but I plan on watching the rest of the series in the near future.
