I have been trying in vain to find a film that I remember freaking me out as a kid, but all I have to go on are a couple of random, but vivid, snippets, and so far Google has been useless so I'm hoping someone here might recognise my inane ramblings? We're looking pre-00's (I couldn't say exactly when)
I remember the film featured a mansion of some sort, within which is a small theatre, it starts showing a play about a ship out at sea tackling some squid-like monster, as the play goes on it starts becoming real as the audience then get splashed with sea water and tentacles come from the stage taking people away.
If I recall there's also something about a unicorn as well that is on the grounds somewhere in the mist?
That's all I have to go on, I'm sorry it's vague but I figure there can't be many films with a magical horrifying stage show!! If it rings a bell please leave me a comment or message :) cheers!
