This is just an opinion,okay.Seeing that ratings of the recent Oscar ceremonies are low and that most people are not interested especially that Kevin Hart who was originally going to host the 2019 Oscar decided to abandon the role due to some controversy involving his past jokes involving anti-gay slurs and language.
This led me to wonder if the 2019 Oscars will go on without a host but they will not broadcast it or likely no ceremony anyway just announce the winners in the news and the press conference (like the cancelled golden globes ceremony back in 2008)
The Reason is that ,most people are probably not interested in watching the Oscars ,They just read the winners from the news or something.
Or at least broadcast the Oscar ceremony on streaming only since most people didn't watch traditional television anymore which explains the decrease in ratings.
