I have recently viewed Oliver Stone’s 2004 epic film about Alexander the Great and I have to say, I get why ppl hated this movie but I also think it could’ve been way better if it were directed by Ridley Scott. Ridley Scott had brought the historical epic film back from irrelevance with 2000’s Gladiator. Could you imagine how much better than war scenes in Alexander would’ve been with Ridley Scott’s direction and how much better the portrayal of Alexander the Great would be if it were someone like a Brad Pitt or Christian Bale or someone like that?
