Saw this trending elsewhere and thought ya'll would have fun.
Pick a typical role (or prop) in a movie and point out how strange they are all the same. My example:
I'm an athlete in a movie, and boy am I down on my luck. Either new inspirational/charismatic members join the team in an unexpected way or a miracle happens, and then team comes together to have a shot at winning the big game.
Original example by Rory Turnball: Hello, I'm a professor in a movie, I only reach the main point of my lecture right as class is ending. Then I yell at students about the reading / homework as they leave.
