If you could choose one novel to be turned into a movie what would it be?
Also, who would you like to see play the main character?
For me it would be Ubik by Philip Dick:
I like to see Edward Norton as Joe Chip... Although it because of the complexity of the book's plot and the fact that it could be tough for viewers to follow along, especially for those who haven't read the book. Obviously the dates used in the story would need to be changed as well. Many of Dick's other novels/short stories have turned into great movies IMO (i.e. Blade Runner, Minority Report, Total Recall, the Adjustment Bureau). I feel if done right, Ubik could be an awesome movie as well.
Others thoughts?
Also, for those who have read Ubik would you like to see it made into a movie?
