A brief discussion on why I'm not excited for Avengers: End Game

Once upon a time, I was so hype for literary any marvel movie that was coming to theaters. Things have changed. I want to see movies like Captain Marvel, but the excitement I feel for them has changed. Before I couldn't wait and Now it's more like, 'I'll check it out.' May have something to do with the sheer number of super hero movies that have come out. Oversaturation is certainly a factor.

Dont get me wrong, I'll still see it for set pieces and I want to see how they tie things up.

But if we're being honest, Thanos' snap was the most anticlimactic way to end that's movie climax.

There's absolutely no mystery. We've seen trailers for the next Spider-Man movie, and it's obvious that The Black Panther will survive because that movie made a billion dollars.

Somehow, the effect of the snap will be undone.

It would have been much more exciting if at least a few of the main players from the beginning died.

Imagine if Thor faded away when it appeared that he delivered a death blow. The, "you should have aimed for the head," quote was bad ass, but if Thor actually perished, it would have been more impactful.

I somewhat get certain reasonings, if all the main players perish, less people will see the movie, but is that true?
