I just wanted to make a short post regarding a theory I have for the upcoming Child's Play reboot. This theory is specifically about Chucky and even more specifically about his voice. I think they are going to go the Metal Head route with Chucky. When I say that, I am referring to the episode of Black Mirror called Metal Head. In this episode a group of people are hunted and killed by a killer robot. A silent death machine that they cannot reason with or stop. They can only run. And I think that is what they are going to do with this new Chucky. I think he is going to be silent, for the most part. I believe that the only time we as an audience will be able to hear him is when the little boy is present. Because in the trailer, the little boy has a hearing aid. So maybe it will have something to do with the frequencies or some other techie shenanigans. Anyways, that's my theory.
