I've got an idea to give the Oscars, a little extra interest. Best Cinephile Award. Announce that if you see so many movies a year, all of the nominated films, we'll throw your name in a hat and nominate you for an Oscar.
So every year you'll get an average guy or gal that loves the movies, to get up there and give a speech, talk about their favorite film that year. It would get a lot more people out to the theater, and would be kind of endearing, I think.
I haven't decided if it's dumb or not yet. What do you think?
