I'm not a movie snob in any way but I genuinely don't understand how movies like this get made. Can someone please explain to me how a movie this absurd gets a script approved? After that, how do they get big name actors to sign on to projects like this? The concept was absurd to begin with but the plot just kept getting more and more cringey until the very end.
Sometimes I really wish I could be a fly on the wall when people are in a room discussing how making a movie like this is actually a good idea. You have to get relatively intelligent people to part with tens of millions of dollars for this to get off the ground and I can't believe that at no point in this process did anyone put their foot down and say what everyone was thinking, that this movies was a horrible idea.
My head hurts, I need to go read a book.
