Do you think that websites like Box Office Mojo should prioritise worldwide gross over domestic gross?

While I recognise that they are a US based site, they have an international audience and it can often be quite frustrating to see most of the data that is presented only covers earnings within the US and not worldwide.

You can find a breakdown of the foreign box office on a country by country basis and also it will be added to the domestic total in the summary (although only in a subsection) but you will not find the worldwide totals contributing to category charts or time period values.

I've also noticed that many other news and media outlets will also focus on domestic gross and almost belittle the importance of overseas business to the success of a film.

The US is obviously a huge market but with foreign markets such as China making up so much of the profits of a film, I feel that films, such as Alita, are being unfairly painted as failures without seeing the bigger picture of worldwide success.
