I’m watching the Mad Max movies again, about halfway through 2, and every time the main hook from the soundtrack plays, it sounds so familiar I can’t stand it. I pause the movie and start humming and immediately remember the scene from that awesome/horrible masters of the universe movie where Kevin is trying to remember the tones for the cosmic key. They sound like the same melody (the mad max one is more bare and a few octaves lower, but the hook is there)!
