Not sure if this is the correct subreddit to ask this but in the world of ‘Bird Box’, are sunglasses supposed to protect you from the monster thing? That man in the river who tries to get the main character to take off her blindfold is wearing them and seems fine, then when she knocks his glasses off his eyes turn black and keeps trying to get her to take her blindfold off. Was he already taken by the monster thing before or was he protected by his glasses?
