So I'll start with the first film I saw from his work Call me by your name. That movie was gorgeous with amazing vibrant colors that reminded you of a nostalgic summer. You can also see Muldeeprom background in Thai film making bleed into the colors(the hot yellows of the italian countryside really reminded me of my vacation of the rural areas of southeast asia). The camera movements are great from the cameras shifting as elio meets oliver for the first time to whenever the camera panns down as he walk down the stairs. Not to mention great shots like Elio smoking, the dance scene, and Elio/Oliver first kiss scene. Suspiria though is probably Muldeeprom's best work I've seen of him so far. He goes all out stylish in this movie despite the dull colors. Muldeeprom is able to use the dull colors and stylish camera movements like zoom ins to emulate a 1970s film. Its pretty great however the climax scene I think is horribly shot even though I knew it was intentional, I still didn't like it. Sad the oscars ignore him but at least he won two independent spirit awards for those two movies so I guess its better than nothing
EDIT: I spelled his last name wrong. His name is supposed to be Sayombhu Mukdeeprom sorry
