I watched the movie today and for most of it, 9/10. But then it just kind of... ended. It was so unsatisfying. Overall great movie, great effects, great characters, great plot, but then it just stopped. It has a million loose ends and no way to tie them up without a full on sequel. What happens to Hugo? Do they find his body? What happened to her “dad”? Was he assassinated? What happened to the old Alitas mom? Did they recover her body parts? What happens to the bounty hunters now that most of the top class has been killed? and so many more the deeper you go. I might recommend the movie just so they make enough money for a sequel. It was so GOOD until it did the little zoom into her eye and everyone was like wait wat the fuck
