Tearing up in the Dark Knight Trilogy

When people talk about tearing up from the Nolan films, I always hear about the third, Dark Knight Rises. More specifically the ending scene, won't go into detail for spoiler reasons, but people who've seen it know why some would tear up.

HOWEVER, I don't really see people ever talk about the Dark Knight. Specifically the ending again. Now, this part will have spoilers, cause I gotta go into a bit of specifics.

When Batman makes the decision to let Harvey Dent be remembered as a hero instead of the villain he had become, because it would have been better for Gotham. And Gordan was saying, no, you can't, Gotham needs you. And Batman finishes with Gotham needs Harvey Dent more. GodDAMN dude, legit teared up there. That's some heroic shit. Like, I enjoyed the ending to Dark Knight Rises, but the Dark Knight, HOO :'). Good ass ending.
