Just wondering if there’s any fans of this incredibly effective, bleak look at serial killer John Christie (a fucking terrifying Richard Attenborough). Terrifically directed by Richard Fleischer which really shakes the viewer with its very blunt approach that makes the more emotional undercurrent, especially in the terrible predicament of one of his victim’s husband Timothy Evans (a heartbreaking John Hurt in a career-best turn which is saying something).
I would recommend watching this, but also warning: not an easy watch. At all.
