Does anyone remember a post about a guy that got falsely accused of stealing from his work and then got sent to a satellite office but then they stopped sending him work to do but kept paying him?

Like the title said the guy kept getting paid so he just ran with it for 8 months and after he sent in his resignation his work called him and asked him to come in,

I would really like to know the ending and I can’t find it anywhere?
