If I don’t live in a state, but I work there which state’s minimum wage applies

I live in northern Virginia (minimum wage 7.25$) so if I were to drive to southern Maryland (minimum wage 10.10$) would they have to pay me the Maryland minimum wage, or could they pay me 7.25$? Thanks
