Think about it: Daniel/Luke gets destroyed by Cobra Kai/Empire, and goes on a mission to stop said bad guys. Cobra Kai/Empire have the love interest of Daniel/Luke. Daniel/Luke finds Yoda/Miyagi, learn from them, and end up trashing Cobra Kai/Empire with newfound ally. Loose approximation but I had a good laugh when it popped into my head.
