I'm doing a personal project and am trying to determine time frames of the 1981 and 1984 deployments. I'm mainly interested in the 1/13/1984 to 8/11/1984 deployment.
I have combed the cruse books but they do not put a lot of dates or strong indicators of when the ship called port and how long it stayed at port.
I am hoping some of you guys from the 63 can give me a time frame on this. I'm currently trying to map out the 84 cruse and figure out when you guys hit Perth AU. The K-314 sub impact narrows it down a lot but I'm digging on how long it took to get to Subic Bay and repair the ship. CruseBook stated it had been at sea 76 days after leaving the Philippines when port was called at Perth.
If any of you guys want to give me a hand here I would greatly appreciate it. Or if you know of more detailed resources I can use to get dates that would be lovely.
