I just really love the idea of living by the sea one day, and movies can really transport me when I can't go there. I've done a fair bit of travel in my time, and some of my favorite places were Iceland, Ireland, and Scotland. I love the rainy seaside towns with their own little personality.
Secret Life of Walter Mitty explored some coastal rural areas. About Time had a few coastal scenes in Cornwall that just were so touching to me. As well, The Grand Seduction was amazing for scenery and the idea of a small fishing village somewhere in Canada.
Extra points for a feels trip.
