I re-watched The Bourne Legacy the other day and I had forgotten that Oscar Isaac was in the movie. His was a small role as an Outcome agent but he was good in it. Aloof and mysterious enough to be an assassin but still showed enough to make we want to know his character's story.
This movie was released back in 2012 and it was just before Isaac's star power blew up. I thought after re-watching it that it was a shame Isaac's character was killed off because I think he'd really work in his own 'Bourne' type movie, if not another 'Bourne Legacy' film based around another ostracized Outcome agent.
I didn't really think of Matt Damon as a potential action guy before Bourne but he nailed it. Triple Frontier looks decent but from the trailers this is definitely Affleck's movie. Anybody else think that Isaac could work as a lead character in an action role and could carry a film? So far in his career he's stayed almost completely away from the action genre.
