The aftermath of The Last Jedi gave birth to two contrasting, yet similar subreddits.
r/StarWarsCantina , the self proclaimed peacekeepers and the metaphorical "Light" side. And r/saltierthancrait , the vigilant and the metaphorical "Dark" side.
Coincidentally, this is exactly what Rian claims in The Last Jedi, through the words of Supreme Leader Snoke - " Darkness rises, and Light to meet it " .
Can this be attributed to mere coincidence? Or did Rian really foresee the aftermath of TLJ? Is Rian Johnson a prophet? Is he the monarch that the Star Wars franchise needs? Or is he merely just a spawn of fate?
