I find critics who enjoy a specific genre (fans) to be refreshing. A critic that knows a genre well and can understand things such as "yea its not the best film but its as good as this genre has offered in a while" to be very useful - in genres on which I am both informed and uninformed.
My question is this:
Who is a critic that you believe is not only a critic but also a fan, and of what genre?
