My friend's shoes got stolen today, at our gym. He left them outside of his locker like many do (not myself), and yeah, when he finished his workout they weren't there.
The gym has video surveillance cameras but we were told that they're not actually recording because it is forbidden by law (we live in Poland). To make things worse the receptionists don't speak English that well (we're not Polish) so it made things even harder. At this point I don't think there is any hope of him getting his shoes back.
Why am I doing this for him? These shoes were fairly new and the guy was literally heart broken, which made me feel really bad for him, and he's one of my best friends. And I know that most likely people might think the money's for me... I can do anything possible to prove it's not, just help me with that (tell me how).
