I live in a small city of 268,000 people, although I don't drive there are fairly good public transport links, but I'm bored out of my mind - it feels like I've done everything there is to do locally. Plus the dating pool isn't bad, but when you tend to date people with similar interests it often feels like there's no getting away from ex's or people who know your ex's. I'd love to pick up and move.
So it has me thinking how people in rural areas cope...what do you do to keep busy or find fun? What happens if you have a bad break-up and pretty much everyone locally knows?
