Hello. Thanks in advance.
I have what I think is a novel idea for a fitness group that caters to older people (middle age), people coming back from injuries with limited mobility, people not in the best of shape, or those who may not feel comfortable in a gym or trying something extreme like cross fit. I'm considering starting a Meet Up but before I begin doing that I wondered, how does one figure out how many people will be interested and actually showing up? My idea seems pretty good to me and I've run it by a few people and they think it sounds pretty good too but that's not a good indication people will actually show up and participate. I'm considering Meetup as the place to propose my idea but I just don't know how to tell if this idea is a good one or not.
Since I'm not currently a gym member and I'm starting from scratch here, how do I find out if my idea will translate into people actually showing up and working out? I'm not necessarily trying to start a business. Mostly, I'm just trying to find people willing to do unorthodox things for fitness and fun, and hopefully get people to show up a few times a week.
Thanks everyone.
