I want to start wearing vans at work. My uniform guideline is pretty open, but I don't want to look like an idiot.
A bit of background, I work in a very popular and busy UK pub company, and currently wear shirt, trousers (black or grey) and shoes.
I'm on my feet all day and feel like my feet would love it if I start wearing comfortable shoes rather than super smart. I feel like there's no in-between.
They'll be the all black type of vans.
I could also go with dark jeans too, but that would be one step to far and a bit of a shock to the system for me, set in my ways as I am.
So TL;DR
Will I look like an idiot with black vans and trousers? If so should I go all the way and start wearing jeans and vans?
