A beginner guy taking dance classes

So, I'm a 21 year old man. I've been interested in possibly learning to do jazz dance. I've never done anything for dancing. I love the energy and excitement it has. I've been interested for a few years now. I've been kinda on the fence though. I'm definitely not a good dancer by any means. The best I have managed is emulating dancing I have seen from others. Which I must admit is pretty feminine clubber type dancing. Think "Every time we touch" type of dance. That's the most recent thing I have learned to emulate. Kind of embarrassing for me to be honest. It's still fun though! Anyway I am a bit overweight (210 at 6 ft.), extremely inexperienced in dancing, and obviously a guy. I guess I'm a little nervous about joining. Afraid I might make people uncomfortable being a guy trying to learn to dance and all. Plus not being the stereotypical thin and toned person. I would say I'm relatively fit. I've mostly worked manual labor jobs. Landscaping, material handling (moving heavy freaking boxes into assembly lines), and now working in a bus plant. What are your guys' thoughts and opinions. I would appreciate any and all honest thoughts. Thank you 😊!
