Is there a subreddit to better ask the following question? (look at the very bottom for the question)
I feel as if my values don't align with the people around me to the point where they seem to feel validated in giving me a hard time on a normal basis. I'd like to try moving somewhere where people are more likely to be accepting of different life choices. Where people don't believe in attacking people for mistakes and bad choices. Rather, removing them from where they cause harm and trying to help them understand why certain things are wrong.
However, A place that doesn't accept terrible and immoral actions either would be cool.
You'd think that Sacramento, a location in California, would be one of the accepting places here but lemme tell ya, witch hunts are real. You can find people even saying stuff like "fear the flock" here. And it isn't always about doing the wrong thing. You can get witch hunted for having "wrong values" or committing "wrong think."
Double standards much?
Anyway, how does someone even find places where people have more similar mentalities as yourself?
