This movie struck the nerve in about every viewer that brought them back down memory lane about the hormone infused, complete madness, cologne abusing years of middle school. this is the first movie that depicts the US school system in a realistic way. it reminds me HEAVILY of my time in middle school. every kid put on gallons of perfume, every kid had a grudge against another, all the crappy social media posts. this movie depicts it all in such a good way. the awkwardness scenes feel awkward, the movie does it's justice in showing just how mad these years were. this is a critically acclaimed movie for multiple valid reasons. i can't wait for Bo to direct again.
